2005 Pierce Contender

On 12/15/05, several of our staff traveled to Pierce Manufacturing's plant in Florida for a final inspection on our newest acquisition, a Pierce Contender pumper/tanker. It has a 1000 gallon water tank, 20 gallon foam tank, 1500 GPM Hale single stage pump, and a jet dump in the rear compartment.

The truck was delivered to Apex on Wednesday 12/21. It was placed into service shortly after the holidays, as the first-out pumper in our Station 2 (New Hill) district.
