E-One 95' Platform

Last Updated: 24 June 2006

On Wednesday, 31 May 2006, around 4:30pm our latest pride and joy rolled into the bay at Station 3. The most recent addition to our cache is a 95' platform built on E-One's Cyclone II chassis. It is considerably larger than anything we've had until now - a tandem axle, it is nearly 12' tall and just shy of 46' long, with a GVWR of 73,500 pounds. The bucket has two monitors and breathing air connections. There is a Hale 2000 GPM pump, foam piped to all the crosslays, a hydraulic generator, on-board computer and back-up camera. Designated Tower 1, as of June 2006 it has been put in service running out of Station 3.
