The Apex Fire Department took delivery on a new brush truck in April 2007. Based on the Wake County specification and manufactured by Seagrave, the unit is built on a Ford F550 XL Super Duty pickup truck body and has a Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V8 under the hood. On the back of the truck we have a 350 gallon water tank, 10 gallon foam tank, Indian pack, Hale pump, booster reel and a preconnected 1 3/4" hoseline.
