SQUADS 1 and 2

In June 2003, the Fire Department was given two Jeep Cherokee's from the Town of Apex's surplus fleet. Both have 6-cylinder gasoline engines. The 1995 is a 4-door, and the 1996 is a 2-door. Sirens and light bars were installed in July. Striping and lettering was added a bit later. Around 2004 the 1996 2-door jeep was replaced with a 1999 2-door, which is the one pictured below.
