On 1/12/06, Engine 5, a 1984 Ford Quality, was officially taken out of service. It has been donated to the Waveland Fire Department in Mississippi, which lost all of its equipment and stations in Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. For those who remember our old Ladder 1, it has gotten a new lease on life! In 2006 we sold it to Calabash Fire Department. They gave it a complete makeover, check out these photos sent to us by Chief Bennett. Click the thumbnails above to view a larger image.
