Ian Bass started his firefighting career in 2001 as a volunteer with the Apex Fire Department. He became a paid firefighter with B-Shift in 2003 and currently helps with the Junior Firefighter Program. He is certified as Firefighter II, Medical First Responder, and Hazmat Operations.
