Chris joined the fire department as a volunteer in 1991. In 1997, he became a paid firefighter. Chris is a certified instructor with the State of North Carolina and holds several other certifications, such as Firefighter I/II, Hazmat Technician, ERT, Driver/Operator and Live Burn Instructor. Chris is now a Captain with the Apex Fire Department.
