Following in her father's footsteps, Rebecca became a volunteer firefighter when she was nineteen years old. In 2001, Rebecca became a career firefighter and later joined the Town of Fuquay Varina Fire Department where she worked her way up through the ranks to Captain. Rebecca joined the Town of Apex Fire Department in December of 2007 as a Lieutenant. Being a firefighter is very rewarding to Rebecca because she enjoys helping other people.
