Emergency responders had their hands full at a multi-vehicle collision that shut down a section of Old Raleigh Road on Sunday August 12. Apex Fire Department apparatus on scene included Ladder 1, Engine 3, Rescue 3, Engine 2, Battalion Chief 1 and Car 1. Apex Police were also on scene, and several EMS units from Apex and Cary responded to treat and transport nearly a dozen patients.
