Apex firefighters were dispatched to a 10-50 PI on New Hill Holleman Road on Friday 2/1/08. Engine 2 arrived on scene first to find a dump truck and passenger vehicle involved, with multiple patients and one fatality. Rescue 3, Battalion Chief 1, Ladder 1 and Car 1 also responded along with multiple EMS and law enforcement units. Traffic was shut down in both directions until the scene could be cleared.
