On Friday, 26 March 2010, Apex Ladder 3 and Ladder 4 were dispatched at 13:53 to a report of a 10-50 on North Salem Street at the US Highway 64 interchange. Ladder 3 arrived to find a utility truck and SUV involved, with stop lights strung across the vehicles. Three light poles were snapped with a fourth one damaged. Apex PD directed traffic. Ladder 4 was cancelled enroute, and fire personnel remained on scene until 15:18.
