Shortly after 10p on Thursday, 24 August 2006, A-shift crews were dispatched to a report of an apartment fire on Reunion Park Drive. Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 3, Tower 1 and Battalion 1 responded. Upon arrival first-in units found that two sprinkler heads had activated in one apartment, dousing the fire that had apparently started on the stove top. Firefighters secured the sprinkler system.
