Apex Christmas Parade

5 December 2009

The Apex Christmas Parade, presented by the Apex Rotary Club, took place on Saturday 12/5/09 in historic downtown Apex. Participants and viewers alike braved the raw temperatures and off-and-on rain showers for the event. Despite the weather, nearly 100 entrants representing local town officials, emergency services, businesses, schools, civic groups, and much more showed off their stuff and the parade lasted almost two hours! Apex Fire Department's Engine 3 and Rescue 4 were towards the front of the line-up kicking off the festivities with sirens and flashing lights.

Ryan Hillen served as chauffeur for the town officials to get them to the parade lineup

At least these marchers were able to stay somewhat warm...

Quite the effective road block on Salem Street!
