48th Annual Apex Christmas Parade

3 December 2005

On Saturday, 3 December 2005, despite freezing temperatures and a few pellets of sleet that feel from the sky, the weather cooperated enough for the Apex Christmas Parade to go off without a hitch. Engine 3 and Ladder 3 were at the front of the line this year, right behind Grand Marshals Mike Morse and Amy Bristle (of G105 "Bob & the Showgram" fame). As has been tradition for as long as I can remember, the Firebelles shined up the 1932 Hunter antique and were in the lineup a few spots behind us. Hundreds of citizens crowded downtown Salem Street bundled up in winter coats and blankets to watch the processional.
