B-Shift went swimming in the town pond on 23 May 2004 to test out some of our newly acquired dive equipment. NC CERT's inventory included two EXO-26 full face masks with hard-wired diver-to-surface communications. The communications line, with a quick-connect to the full face mask, simultaneously serves as the search line. Being able to have a conversation with someone top-side definitely makes diving in 0-visibility waters a bit more tolerable!
