VEHICLE EXTRICATION TRAINING
21 January 2002
We had a rare opportunity to get some hands-on extrication training with several junked cars this month. The cars were towed out to Station 2 in New Hill, where they were placed into realistic scenarios in the mud, up against the trees and overturned. Firefighters practiced popping doors, removing roofs, stabilization techniques, and much more.
