The 77th Annual Fire Department Instructor's Conference (FDIC) celebrated its 11th year in Indianapolis. This was my 4th year in attendance, and it seems to get better every year. On Monday I participated in the Flashover Simulator and Alternative Water Supply Hands-On Training (H.O.T.) sessions. On Tuesday I was in the 8-hour High Angle Emergencies session. Wednesday and Thursday were spent in the classrooms and wandering about the enormous exhibit halls.
Click the links below to see photos and read about some of the H.O.T. sessions. I tried to remember names but, if I've mis-stated anyone's information in the photo pages please email me so that I can correct it!
