Garner Fire Department held its annual Fireman's Day festival on Saturday 5 October 2002. There was lots of good food, plenty of games for the kids, and of course, LOTS of fire trucks! A parade of fire, EMS and law enforcement units along with several local groups made its way down the main stretch downtown at 2pm. Apex's E-One pumper was part of the line-up.
