Engine 1, Rescue 1 and Engine 2 responded along with Car 1, Car 2 and Car 3 to a reported 10-50 pin-in on Old US 1 near Shearon Harris Road in the early hours of Sunday morning. As Engine 1 and Rescue 1 performed the extrication, Engine 2 set up the landing zone for Duke Lifeflight. The patient died of his injuries at the hospital.
