Engine 1 made an appearance at Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh at author Mike Legeros' signing for his first book, "Raleigh and Wake County Firefighting". Through photos, news clippings and other images this book tells the story of over a century of fire protection in Wake County. Some of our senior firefighters here in Apex will find several photos with some familiar faces from the good ol' days.
