ERT: Ladder Rigging

The Sandhills Emergency Services Seminar was held at Sandhills Community College in Pinehurst, North Carolina 1/31 - 2/1/04. Jeff Bunnell (City of Durham FD, Circle V Fire Department, Moore County FOOLS) was our instructor for ERT Ladder Rigging. We reviewed some basic ropes and knots, mechanical advantages and tensioning systems. Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday we braved the cold blustery winds and put it all together, rigging up a ladder derrick, a-frame, and several other configurations.
