On Monday, 20 February 2006, crews were dispatched to a structure fire on Iron Gate Drive at about noon. Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 3, Ladder 3, Tanker 1, Battalion 1 and Car 5 responded, along with Apex EMS and Holly Springs Engine 2 as mutual aid.
Smoke was showing upon arrival; crews pulled a line off Engine 3 and also went to the roof for ventilation. With an aggressive attack, the fire was quickly brought under control.
