Fire Trucks Arrive

Mr. Ohmann's 1965 American LaFrance was the first to arrive. We rode with Asst. Chief Smith back to Station 1 to watch them unload the truck. It was obvious that a lot of work had gone into restoring this apparatus, as it was in pristine condition. Gerard Wyatt, one of Mr. Ohmann's associates, had ridden down with the truck driver and gave the firefighters a first look at their new ride.

Not long afterward, our 1984 Ford Quality arrived at Station 2. We all piled back into Asst. Chief Smith's truck and drove over there to meet it. It's served us well over the years, hopefully they will be able to get some good use out of it as well.
