Blowing Rock Fire Department

David and I vacationed in Blowing Rock, NC in October 2003. As usual, one of the first things I had to do was scope out the local firehouse. As luck would have it, on Saturday the doors were wide open and the crews were washing their fire trucks on the front ramp. Thanks to the guys who took the time to show me around and chat for awhile!
Blowing Rock is in Watauga County and has a combination paid/volunteer fire department as well as an ambulance service.
