I attended the Fire Department Instructor's Conference (FDIC) in April 2007, and couldn't resist the temptation to visit one of Indianapolis Fire Department's stations that was just a few blocks away from my hotel. Station 13 is at the corner of W. Ohio Street and NW Street.

Station 13 is home to Ladder 13 and Engine 13...
...as well as Tactical 13 (Hazmat)

While I was visiting, IFD Engine 7 did a drive-by
Station 13 is right next to the Canal Walk, a picturesque area that follows along the Central Canal through downtown Indianapolis.
